Abstract
Each stakeholder in education approaches quality issues from a different point of view. Though there is a need for a shared understanding on the notion of quality enhancement to be evolved and a way to transform this into action. This article inquires students’ engagement and participation in quality assurance and quality enhancement mechanisms in a tertiary institution and more specifically students’ learning experience at a distance education university. A student feedback questionnaire is used in order to collect data from the Hellenic Open University as a case study. The first results are presented and discussed here.
