Abstract

The role of the tutor counselor is actually an upgraded and complicated role, which has special requirements in the educational practice. This upgraded role in the contemporary educational environment focused on his ability to be able to open doors and flexible learning tools for the students so as to be able to transform into their hands independent and effective learning tools. Therefore, his involvement of concentrating on a flexible and demanding role makes him a real counselor and supporter in the academic work of his students. Prerequisite effective learning is the development of cognitive skills and the use of specific techniques. These combined with the learning requirements in the respective field of knowledge and the right incentives, identify the set of learning objectives. Its main activities consist of teaching techniques and activation of students, as it aims to make them able to learn on their own.
