Abstract

The present study investigates the potential utilization of the digital tool ELeFyS (Greek Illustrated Science Dictionary for School) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of supplementary distance education material on the topic of Energy, targeted at students in the upper primary and lower secondary school grades. The instructional design followed ADDIE model and was guided by the design principles in the context of distance education, aiming at enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and deepening students’ conceptual understanding of Energy through the integrated development of language and subject content.
