Abstract

Cinema with its multiple characteristics reflects best the rapid technological, social and financial changes of our days. This is probably a good reason to use a movie film as an innovation in the educational field: it may contribute to the necessary overlapping of the standardized educational programmes and the established educational structures. So, in this paper at first we attempt a theoretical documentation of the contribution of watching a movie film in the adult education in particular. In the second part, we research the opinions of adult trainers teaching Greek as a second/foreign language, regarding the use of a movie film in their lessons. The objective is to outline indicatively the Greek educational reality in this field of adult education.
