The learning of the post graduated female students in the program “Studies in Education” of Hellenic Open University

Abstract
This article refers to a study and research on the the views of postgraduated female students and their companions in the program “Studies in Education” of Hellenic Open University (HOU). The researcher used the qualitative method, through interviews, in order to recorded and analyzed the benefits that facilitate learning and the difficulties and the problems that have to manage. As the results indicated, there is a acceptance of the HOU in the female student population.The students are influenced by the tutor, training meeting, communication level between tutor and students, educational material, and library services. Moreover female students accepting their multiple social roles and the liabilities arising from them, manage daily obstacles of family and work environment as well as the liabilities arising from HOU. In that regard, the conscious choice learning, self-discipline and positive attitude to this form of education as well as the help of their family determine decisively the whole efforts for learning through which seek new intellectual horizons and personal, academic and professional development.
