The use of digital learning material and digital tools in the subject of Ancient Greek – A teaching proposal for the 1st year of Lyceum
Abstract
This paper tries to document the existing data regarding the use of the tools of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the teaching of Ancient Greek in Secondary Education. From the study of the existing literature it is concluded that there is a need to change the educational framework in general. Specifically for the subject of Ancient Greek this need is urgent, as students often are negative towards it, as a result of which they do not actively participate in the teaching process. So, after presenting tools that have been used with positive results or are recommended for use by philologists for the Ancient Greek subject, the proposal of the researcher will be presented, which regards the 1st year of Lyceum and the Ancient Greek Language and Literature.
