Abstract

The Covid-19 health crisis provided an opportunity to integrate new digital tools at all three levels of education. At the same time, the training of teachers in these tools has been strengthened in order to ensure that they are smoothly integrated and achieve the pedagogical objectives of each subject. In the context of the rapid training of primary and secondary school teachers in distance education organised by the Ministry of Education in partnership with university departments of several academic institutions in Greece, an educational scenario was created for the subject of biology in secondary school. This scenario was implemented in practice during the academic year 2021-2022, in conditions of face-to-face teaching, information was drawn from its application and adapted to its final form, which is presented in this paper. It describes a teaching proposal of 2 hours duration, which aims to cover the thematic section 2.4 Substance intake and digestion in humans - food nutrients, of the textbook concerning the subject of biology in the first grade of high school. For its implementation, the possibilities provided by the Webex and e-class platforms were used, as well as several simulation websites.
