Abstract
The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the experience of remote online teaching have spurred the spread of online technologies and the adoption of e-learning strategies in the educational field, both in schools and universities. This research study investigates software that uses remote access technology and is freely provided in the form of open digital educational resources for the purpose of managing remote workshops. Its main objective is to examine how this software can be used to effectively teach computer science courses, with the aim of providing direct and real-time remote instructor support to students. It is worth noting that this study was carried out during the pandemic, in the context of teaching computer programming and networking courses in public educational institutions providing vocational education and training.
