Abstract

This work refers to the design, implementation and evaluation of educational material for the repetitive teaching of the Allegory of the Cave of the Platonic "State". The educational material was designed in harmony with the distance education methodology, but also according to the specifications of the course, and the teaching approaches proposed for high school students. The research process focused mainly on the evaluation of the quality of the educational material created for supplementary distance education in the course of ancient Greek, specifically on the Allegory of the Cave section of the Platonic State, with "purposive sampling". The participants in the research belonged to 3 different groups, which were directly related to the subject under investigation in order to evaluate the educational material in a multifaceted way, to point out any failures in order to improve it, so to really be an aid for teachers and students in the teaching of the module in question, to really respond to the needs of students and also to enrich the field of school distance education.
