Abstract
During the period of the coronavirus pandemic, the forced suspension of the face-to-face operation of schools and the urgent use of Online Teaching and Learning shaped a variety of attitudes and opinions of teachers regarding the impact of Online Teaching and Learning on the teaching and learning process. On this basis, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of teachers in primary schools in the utilization of Online Teaching and Learning in the teaching process of language classes during the coronal period. Three hundred and eighty-one teachers constituted the sample of the study. A structured questionnaire was used to conduct the research and collect the data and the main findings of the research are summarized as follows: the attitudes and opinions of the teachers about the role of the teacher - regarding the interaction between the teacher - students, the use of methods and teaching techniques - in the teaching and learning process of language courses, it turns out that they are approximately neutral, i.e. neither positive nor negative.
