Abstract
The article describes an educational practice that was applied for the training of primary school teachers who lived in Greek islands, within the program “Teachers 4 Europe”. The educational practice applies the asynchronous and synchronous blended learning method in a virtual classroom, the use of forums and web 2.0 tools, emphasizing in the communication and collaboration of participants. General results of the practice have been positive both in terms of the methodology adopted and as regards the cooperation and the interpersonal relationship that had been developed between the participants.
