Abstract

This paper investigates the characteristics of the radio classes in adult distance learning institution Radio ECCA, the learning processes taking place in radio classes and the difficulties faced by students. The research followed the principles of a quality methods and research data collection tool was open questions questionnaire. The questionnaire was completed by all "radio" teachers of the institution, 20 people in total. For processing the results followed the method of content analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of radio classes and educational processes are consistent with those of a high quality distance education process. However, students face difficulties, the most important of which are due to the listening of radio classes, which broadcasted in certain hours of the day and to technical problems in the listening of radio classes, especially for those living in areas where the radio signal is weak.
