Digital Transformation Strategy, Web 2.0 Educational Applications, and Leadership in Primary Education
Abstract
This study explores the role of digital leadership in promoting the use of Web 2.0 tools in Primary Education, with an emphasis on teachers’ digital skills and leadership styles. The aim is to understand how leadership influences the adoption of educational technologies. A quantitative methodology was employed through a questionnaire completed by 30 primary school principals in the Dodecanese region. Statistical analyses were conducted to examine the relationships between leadership styles, digital skills, and demographic variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership fosters the active use of Web 2.0 tools and is positively associated with professional satisfaction. The study contributes to highlighting the importance of leadership in educational innovation and in shaping professional development strategies for educators.
