Abstract
This thesis constitutes the description of educational material for asynchronous e-learning, via an education platform, which is addressed to professionals of the banking sector. In particular, it concerns senior officials of a Greek bank, subsidiary of an international French banking group, who attend private lessons of French for specific purposes addressed to beginners, at their workplace after working hours. The purpose of our course is to be used as supplementary material which will allow the teacher to evaluate his students’ level of knowledge, to give them the possibility of repeating the basic grammatical and lexical phenomena which are contained in the book used in the private lessons, to introduce them to the concepts of self-learning and self-evaluation and enrich their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Finally, it will allow the teacher to prepare his students appropriately, so that they can communicate and cooperate with people whose mother tongue is French, both in their daily and professional life. In this way, they will cover the possibility of a move to a French-speaking country for the benefit of their career.
