Abstract
During the last decade the rapid evolution in social, political, economical and technological aspects of life redefine the role of school imposing changes on learning processes. The New Curricula focus on how students-future citizens- will improve their competences and skills in order to face the demands of the new era. One of the main goals of this new era is to improve students’ Mathematic skills. Teaching by using educational Mathematics software can activate students; can become a means to transfer and communicate knowledge and eventually may become a way to improve the quality of education. This essay introduces a study case of a Greek high school in the subject of Mathematics, which aimed to design and implement a complementary distance learning program. The implementation was based on Claroline, a Learning Management System and GeoGebra, a free-multi dynamic platform of mathematical software for all levels of education.
