Immigrants’ social integration and Open Distance Education in Greece

Abstract

The present article deals with Open and Distance Education as a Science and examines its potential to play a role to the immigrants’ social integration.  Integration is understood as the process of inclusion of immigrants in the institutions and relationships of the host society, without losing their differentiation and individuality. In addition, the article refers briefly to the human rights of immigrants concerning education in the framework of migration policy inGreece.
