Η Ισπανία στους πρώιμους νέους χρόνους (15oς -17oς αι.)

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the course is to "read" with our students the Modern Times (15th-18th centuries) of Spanish history, outlined in the modules ISP21 and 22, as well as to resume and consolidate its content. Expected results: Students who read the additional texts and complete the exercise are expected to choose, present, and analysed - interpret the basic concepts of the political, social and cultural development of Spain and its hegemony in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, at the period under consideration. Introductory remarks - clarifications: The present proposal of study has attempted to fulfill the students need to set up a discussion - bridge between the two programmes, the European Civilization and the Spanish Civilization respectively, considering that the later is an integral part of the former. The present text was initially introduced in seminar classes and at the educational portal. This presentation may therefore be considered as a first invitation on cooperation - coordination of the two study programmes.
