Abstract
Students and teachers have the opportunity to develop national, local and international collaborations through distance learning on a common subject. Distance education can play an important complementary role in preschool education in the framework of new methodologies and models proposed in the literature. In particular, in this study we present the design, the implementation and the results of an e-twinning project for the case of pre-school students. The subject of cognitive processing was to get the students acquainted with their feelings and to develop skills around them. The results from the implementation of the project certify enhance interaction and focused collaborative communication as elements that enhance and promote collaborative learning in distance synchronous collaborative environment in preschool education.
