Abstract
The societal characteristics of our time, the rapid technological developments, the increase in age limits, the strong demographic changes, the high unemployment rates create the need to develop national and international policies and strategies aimed at the well-being of citizens. The Sustainable Development Goals Program was adopted by the United Nations in September 2015 and is an evolution of the Millennium Development Goals Program (2000-2015). Its main axes are the development of the economy, society and the environment. Ιn a context of global cooperation and synergy, UNESCO and the European Union (EU) institutions are called upon to play an important role in the implementation of the Agenda, as they have both the right experience and extensive diplomatic networks. To this end, important official texts have been drawn up on the achievement of the Agenda 2030 objectives. This present study reflects and explores the dimensions of growth and how it can be achieved, through the qualitative analysis of three texts. As a result, some common thematic networks are emerging: policymaking, education, skills and human rights, which are the foundation stone of the policies, actions and initiatives.
