Abstract
Nowadays, digital technology, with the increase and improvement of technological achievements, gives us many opportunities to envision and create experiences that are not possible in real life for the benefit of students. The use of smartphones and tablets enables us to leverage technology in the educational and learning process in pedagogical terms. This article presents an innovative design for the subject of History of Elementary School for students aged 11-12 which is based in AR-AUGMENTED REALITY and QR-CODE, with a view to a deeper understanding of the students and empowering the motivation to engage with the subject of History. At the beginning of this article, the terms of the Enhanced Reality are clarified and the terms of the Quick Response code that is a bridge between the real world and the digital world. Applications are listed below and how these applications are used in education with these two technology tools. Applications that although still in the beginning, there is an ever-increasing trend. Next step is the description of the action, the activities taking place in this design. This design includes an interactive book referring to the subject of the History that the printed material "comes alive" with the support of the digital material. Finally, some conclusions are drawn from this first attempt to integrate Augmented Reality into the educational and learning process.
