Abstract

This study is based on research involving a sample of 188 students (aged 18-24) from the School of Education Sciences at the University of Ioannina, focusing on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It emphasizes the goals that promote human rights and well-being: the eradication of poverty and hunger, the reduction of inequalities, good health, and quality education. The students consider the goals related to health and hunger as the most significant, prioritizing health prevention and peace. Obstacles include armed conflicts and climate change. Finally, youth awareness is high, with education playing a central role, while the continuation of courses and training is recommended.
