Abstract

Inquiry lies at the heart of   scientific methodology and at the same time is a powerful contemporary pedagogical approach aiming at understanding of scientific knowledge and practices by students. Students and teachers face difficulties in engaging in inquiry and these are widely investigated by researchers in science education. In the present symposium are studied aspects of inquiry as classroom research and as a teaching approach to students and teachers.
