Abstract

Nanotechnology-Nanoscience (N-ST) is an interdisciplinary and modern field of research, while Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is a new approach that has been formed in Europe in recent years. These two areas aim at the development of scientific literacy, engagement with the field of Science Education and finally, active involvement in research and innovation issues. Τhis paper focused on the design and development of educational activities which connect the content of N-ST with two of the policy agendas of RRI. The content of N-ST concerns the Size of objects (Macroworld, Microworld, Nanoworld) as well as the viral infection.
