Abstract

In this work we build a digital game in Unity to identify and fix alternative ideas in the buoyancy effect. As is well known, children before even attending school have formed an opinion on natural phenomena, giving their own interpretation of them. The design of the game involves a hero, where in order to break through obstacles in his way, he is confronted with the phenomenon of buoyancy. The student, doing tests with different weights, comes into cognitive conflict with the parameters of the phenomenon and a suitable field is created, where the transformation of the students' alternative ideas into scientific knowledge is facilitated.
