Abstract
In the past few years in Greece, as in other European countries, there have been major changes in education spending. Due to the economic crisis, most countries were forced to cut their budgets in the years 2011 to 2012. The purpose of this article is 1) to study all those changes that happened in educational spending (public and private) for Greece during the past few years. Greece is still below the average of EU countries, in relation to investment in education.
