Abstract

In the current literature there is a large number of articles related to the economic factors that play an important role in the development and future trends of housing prices. At the same time, the results of these articles tend to be generalized and this results in failure of the prediction of future house prices. On the other hand, a large volume of articles exists that deal with housing submarkets but they target on the methods used in order to specify their boundaries. One thing that it is not disputed, based on the current literature is that the housing market is highly and positively associated with the economic development of a country. Every study conducted in this field, has as its ultimate goal to provide knowledge and contribute to the prediction of the economic development of a country. To this direction we wish to contribute as well and open alternative debate.
