Επαγγελματική Ικανοποίηση Εκπαιδευτικών Α/Θμιας Εκπαίδευσης ως προς τις συνθήκες εργασίας
Abstract
The current study was held during the 2009-2010 school year from a number of teachers that work in primary schools of Athens. It investigates factors that affect the quality of the professional life and that are connected with the professional satisfaction that these teachers are experiencing in regard with their working conditions. The processing and analysis of the statistical data showed that teachers derive satisfaction from their work, but as far as some aspects of the occupational conditions in their school environment, they are dissatisfied (evaluation, opportunities of constant training and development, infrastructure and educational resources that are available). Factors that showed that affect job satisfaction of teachers are: “Relationships with students, parents and society”, “Relationships with colleagues”, "Administrative organization and school management", "School climate", "Professional Development", "Yard of the school", "Buildings and infrastructure", "Interior spaces of the school", "Relationship with superiors" and "Relationships with other levels of the hierarchy."
