Η Σχέση του Ανθρώπινου Κεφαλαίου του Διδακτικού Προσωπικού των Επαγγελματικών Λυκείων και της Εισαγωγής των Αποφοίτων τους στην Τριτοβάθμια Εκπαίδευση: «Η Περίπτωση της Περιφέρειας Στερεάς Ελλάδας»
Abstract
Due to globalization and the great competition that exists today, either we discuss about people, or about business or states, investment is an important weapon in human capital. Countries that can produce more and better knowledge and more and better information will have a big advantage. For this reason, governments are investing in human capital in order to increase the average level of knowledge. With this work approached to investigate the correlation between the existence of the Human Capital teacher who taught in the years 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, in the Professional Schools of the Region of Central Greece and the success rate of the students in higher education during the school year 2013-2014. In addition, comparisons of indicators relating to the Secondary Education of the Region of Central Greece. The findings of the empirical analysis leads to the following summary: A) there is no correlation between the Human Capital of the Teaching Staff of Vocational High Schools in the Region of Central Greece and the Introduction of the Graduate in Higher Education. B) the success of students of Vocational High Schools in higher education is influenced by other factors as may be the socioeconomic status of the family, the tutorial education and various other factors that require further investigation. C) the size of schools, the size of the segments and the number of students per professional school teacher of the region of Central Greece, is determined from the average of the OECD countries and the European Union.
