Abstract

 

 This research project attempts to study the way in which the project teaching method is conducted in the structures of the Vocational Training Institutes : Public and Private Institutes, Job Center Plus, Sivitanidios School. Furthermore, the aim of the current study is to find out whether there are differences between the trainees of the structures with regard to the role of the trainer and the usefulness of the project. The participants of the survey consisted of 205 trainees inVocational Training Institutes (Public, Private, Job Center Plus and Sivitanidios schools). The results showed that trainees are more involved in the teaching method of project in which the trainer mainly has an auxiliary role. However, their views differed according to the structure that trainees were studying, the role of the trainer and the usefulness of the project, which also seemed to be dependent on their educational level.This article demonstrates that the new educational methods and technics have as a result the development of educational and social skills.
