Abstract

 

 The aim of this study highlights the perspective of teachers themselves in Second Chance School and the presentation of their perceptions about their role. The concepts studied in the light of humanitarian theories of adult education on the role of teachers as described in the literature. For the survey was a qualitative approach using semi-structured interview type. The survey revealed attitudes of teachers about their role which formed the basis of their working experience in the Second Chance School, which seems to overlap with the positions of the literature on the role of adult educator and coach, not a single transmitter of knowledge that enhances the self-motivated learners. Moreover, it emerged in the perceptions of instructors realize our role as leaders of curriculum with the needs and interests of learners and the majority recognize the necessary capacity of social awareness in the trainee group.
