Abstract
The position of informatics in the curricula of economic departments varies and does not meet the requirements of the digital age. A potentially relatively low position was recorded. This will lead to difficulties in communicating economists with IT, two specialties with strong and necessary interdependence in the modern economic environment, highlighting the need for graduate retraining, hampering the development and enhancement of eGovernment culture, and inhibiting the growth of the EGDI.
