child and landscape. an experiential game

Abstract
This research aims to create a new place for discussion and engagement between the Sciences of Landscape Architecture, Pedagogy, Psychology and Geography. The approaches that can relate the design of outdoor spaces for children and the pedagogical quality and value of space create the hypothesis of this research.
The structure of the thesis begins with a literature review and continues with an experiential narration of contemporary examples of outdoor spaces for children. Game has been the tool of the structure of the above-mentioned investigation. Game, in this research, is considered to be the process through which every player when following specific rules can play for fun or exploration and not for wining.
The back bone of the whole study, it’s methodology is the real-life experience. Child and landscape are being analysed through experiential moments inside both the real and the academic world. The conclusion of this study is that we could create a new dialogue and the right conditions through interdisciplinary cooperation where the child and the landscape can be synthesized into something new that could benefit the principle of every society, the child.
