Abstract

This paper presents the design and the development of a teaching intervention on the topic of Electric Current, utilizing models from the school textbook. The aim is to foster the understanding of the subject matter, familiarizing students with the nature of models and to engage them in scientific practices. This teaching intervention includes activities for constructing and utilizing models to explain and predict electrical current situations, promoting the active participation of students in the educational process and the development of 21st-century learning skills.
