Abstract
The present study focuses on the investigation of the difficulties pre-service teachers face while designing their own Inquiry Based teaching material. According to the research results, the difficulties are related to poor teaching goals formulation, weakness on being inquiry-oriented, and to following the phases of Inquiry-Based model. Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) is a teaching method which aims at the active involvement of students in the teaching process. While working with it, students conduct their own research and reach their own conclusions, working according to the scientific method.
