Abstract

This study focuses on young people’s attitudes towards Goals 11, 16, 17 of the UN 2030 Agenda. These goals aim to create sustainable cities and communities (Sustainable Development Goals [SDG] 11), ensure peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16) and promote cooperation for the achievement of all goals (SDG 17). Some results of a recent survey of ours on a sample of 188 undergraduate students aged 18-24 years (School of Education, University of Ioannina) were used, which was carried out through the completion of a questionnaire (21 close-ended questions) highlighting both the importance of raising awareness, increasing familiarity as well as taking further action and enhancing education for sustainability.
