Abstract

The art of photography can be used as a creative tool in the hands of students for environmental, social and sustainability purposes. This paper is a narrative overview with the aim of understanding the issue concerning the relationship between photography and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). It identifies articles and researches related to ESD and photography, and more specifically the photovoice technique, and provides a didactic-research proposal for the implementation of activities in which sustainability issues could be approached through the photovoice technique.
