Abstract

This paper is an educational proposal for students’ familiarization with nature of science through teaching the concept of time. It refers to a program, implemented at the Herakleidon Museum, that includes a tour of exhibits related to timekeeping in Ancient Greece and a card game. Through these activities, students will have the opportunity to analyze and discuss sources that cover the issue of time in different cultural contexts. Its goal is to familiarize students with the physical principles related to the measurement of time, as well as to highlight the relationship between science and society.
