Abstract

This study focuses on young people’s attitudes towards Goals 11, 16, 17 of the UN 2030 Agenda. These goals aim to create sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), ensure peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16) and promote cooperation for the achievement of all goals (SDG 17). Some results of our recent survey on a sample of 188 undergraduate students aged 18-24 years (School of Education, University of Ioannina) were used which was carried out through the completion of a questionnaire (21 close-ended questions) highlighting the importance of raising awareness, increasing familiarity, taking further action and enhancing education for sustainability.
