Abstract

This paper presents an innovative initiative focusing on the design, implementation, and educational utilization of sundials in schools, with the organization and coordination of the process conducted through teacher communities of practice. At least 600 schools, primarily from Greece but also from other parts of the world, are participating in this initiative. The aim of this study is to highlight the significance of communities of practice, explore the practical dimensions of the initiative.
