Abstract
Although numerous studies in Science Education have examined the phenomenon of gravity and its related concepts, the role of gravity in the Earth-Moon interaction has yet to receive similar attention, mainly due to the considerable cognitive challenges it entails. This paper presents findings from implementing a teaching-learning sequence designed to investigate how incorporating these topics into instruction can deepen future teachers’ perspective of the tidal phenomenon. The insights uncovered and the range of educational materials selected will be thoroughly discussed in the following sections.
