Abstract

The labwork: “The Energy Bicycle Visits the Elementary School" utilizes a unique setup for generating electricity through the movement of a standard bicycle. Students, divided into pair groups, take turn onto riding the bicycle and sequentially operating the devices connected to it. Meanwhile, their classmates fill out corresponding worksheets (WS) to reinforce their learning. Through this workshop, students are able to grasp the concept of energy in a tangible way. Additionally, various curriculum areas are covered, such as electrical circuits, electromagnetism, and energy transformation from one form to another. The implementation of the workshop greatly excited students aged 10-12.
