Abstract
Nanotechnology and Nanoscience (N-ST) is an interdisciplinary and modern field of research. In parallel, Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) constitutes an approach to addressing social implications of contemporary research, aiming, among other goals, to foster engagement in Science Education and active involvement in research and innovation. This paper focuses on designing and developing educational activities that integrate N-ST content with two policy agendas of RRI. The N-ST content addresses the size of objects (Macroworld, Microworld, Nanoworld) and viral infections.
