Abstract

Control of Variables Strategy (CVS) is a substantial aspect of Inquiry-based learning. This paper aims to present the questionnaire design, which was based on the literature about teachers’ views and difficulties concerning the CVS method, such as a summary report of the results of the research and the designing errors which emerged in-service elementary teachers (N=84) regarding their views on the CVS method. From the results of the research, we found that in-service elementary teachers need varying support to address the difficulties in all the CVS sub-skills, in order to achieve a high degree of understanding of them.
