Teaching approach on primary electricity using IV Escape room to Autism Spectrum Disorder students (A.S.D. Level 1)

Abstract
The present paper investigates the effectiveness of an educational digital application of an escape room (iv escape room) that addresses Primary school students with high-functioning autism spectrum (ASD), in terms of teaching electricity concepts. The digital application was used by 23 Primary 5th and 6th grade students. The data was collected through questionnaires as well as through the digital application. The results revealed that the use of the specific digital application contributes positively to a more substantial understanding of electricity concepts and to teachers' ability to diagnose their learners' cognitive level.
