Abstract
This paper presents the didactic design and the pilot application of the thematic unit of the New Analytical Study Program of Environmental Studies, "The Weather and the Seasons in the Country Where I Live," as it was applied to the 24 students of the 3rd Grade of the 1st Experimental Primary School Ioannina. The methodology and design were based on the new principles of the new Curriculum. It seems necessary to transform educational practices with modern methods and practices to make them attractive to current and future students.
