Abstract
The emerging area of science called nanotechnology and nanoscience is considered to deal with the study of matter in nanoscale and the nanostructure. NSE has applications in a variety of fields and is considered to contribute in the functionality of our society and our daily life. This is the reason why their educational value is considerable. In this work, a Teaching Learning Sequence (TLS) was developed and applied to 13 High School students, based on the Big Ideas of NST, in order to identify the student’s perceptions about NST and to evaluate the TLS in terms of the development of cooperation skills and student’s motivations.
