Abstract

This study presents an educational proposal which attempts to utilize virtual experiments alongside the real experiments performed in the educational laboratory. Specifically, the efficacy of incorporating virtual experiments as a preparatory tool, aiding students in acclimating to subsequent real-world experiments, is investigated. The findings indicate that this approach assists students in preparing and becoming acquainted with both the experimental procedure and the data processing of the real experiment. Furthermore, students state that carrying out a virtual experiment is more interesting and helpful than preparing for the corresponding real experiment by conventional text-based preparation methods.
