Abstract

In this paper, future teachers’ views on the emerging properties are investigated. It is a pilot research study which is implemented through the completion of a worksheet by the participants. Data was analyzed using qualitative content analysis method. Early findings suggest that future teachers can perceive emergent properties as novel properties of physical systems, however further research is needed to better map their views.
