Teaching uncertainty principle in a historically and inquiry-based context
Abstract
This study constitutes a proposal for teaching the Uncertainty Principle through an inquiry-based process, placing additional emphasis on the nature of science and the social responsibility of scientists. The proposal utilizes the single slit experiment, the theatrical drama “Copenhagen”, examples from the History of Science, as well as various applications derived by microcosm or macrocosm.
