Abstract

While there is a growing global debate about the sustainable development and the importance of plants for the environment, researchers have become aware of the declining general interest in the plant world and the limited knowledge about plants, internationally. The purpose of this research was to study the intensity of the phenomenon of Plant Blindness of Primary Education teachers. The results showed that it is important to raise teachers' awareness of the plant world, to enhance their knowledge and to improve the existing school education on plants.
